Itinerary Details
Early morning pickup at 7.30 am :
The tour will begin early in the morning around 07:30 hrs, this will give you a head start so that you can spend much time for sightseeing. You will be provided delicious breakfast based on your preferences and then you will head towards Bateshwar. One can choose rides depending on pocket economy or size of the group.
Visit the beautiful temples along the way :
The guide will make you watch beautiful temples of Lord Shiva and Maa Shakti along the way. The temples have rich designs and they were constructed in the 12th century. The bank of river Yamuna is also considered sacred and you can also click mesmerizing pictures and take them as souvenirs.
Arriving at Chambal at 12 pm :
You will be taken to one of the best lodges in Chambal where you can have delicious lunch. From the lodge, you can see beautiful sights of the Chambal valley. One can either take an outside lunch which will give you an exotic feel.
Exploring the natural habitat :
Just after lunch, you will be lead by the guide to the Chambal valley where you will be offered a boat ride. This will give you a new vantage point to discover some of the most beautiful species of animals for which Chambal is famous. The boat is equipped with basic facilities like first aid box, safety vests, etc. The guide will also make you spot various migratory birds. Thus, this tour is also great for bird watchers.
After the boat trip, the guide will also take you to the interior of the forest where you can spot various wild animals like gazelle, porcupine, black buck, rhesus macaque, etc. If you are a plant lover, then this sanctuary has some of the most beautiful species of plants viz — Indian plum, Butea momosperma, Acacia catechu, etc. Guides will further let you explore the ravines of river Chambal on foot which will give you enough time to make some memorable videos with your loved ones that you can share in the future. Back to the hotel at 6 pm :
